More than two decades on Samy's Curry in Block 25, Dempsey Road, Civil Service Club , has become an institution in itself.

That is, if you can find its dining hall first . 

Hidden in a cluster of colonial low buildings that once formed the Ministry of Defence, the eatery opens its way to the public via shrub-framed flight of steps. 

That in itself is the uniqueness of the joint . Its inaccessibility is simply compensated by its serene, green surrounds.

Trees , Climbers and aerial roots area literally framed  like picture postcards by each of the four large windows making holes into the walls of his open-air eatery 

The twin stars of Samy's Curry, however, are its signature dishes: chicken masala and fish head curry.
